PICS can offer full CGI animations in 3D & 2D, live action backplates, green-screen shoots, camera tracking, compositing, post-production, photogrammetry, editing, colour grading, particle VFX, sound design, music composition, creative direction and retouching and full project management.

Highly experienced in Houdini, Cinema 4D, Nuke, After Effects and Redshift and with the capability to convert & remodel a range of supplied CAD files, PICS can accommodate any project from the smallest online eCommerce output to a full 4k film.

Working from a script, storyboard or verbal brief, PICS will prepare a previsualisation animatic as an initial stage to establish timing, duration, camera moves and overall shot compositions. Early edits can run to multiple rounds during the pursuit of an approved animatic.

Concurrent with the animatic stage, we will be building any assets that are required and feature in the final sequence, developing the surface textures and pre-lighting the CGI models. Regardless of photo-realistic fur, high gloss automotive paintwork or complex organic subjects such as food and liquids, this is when our renowned attention to detail comes to the fore.

With timeframes, shot construction, texturing and lighting in place, the high-resolution renders move to the editing stage and undergo final colour grading to perfect the film to its full potential.
