PICS partnership with Daniel Wellington began back in 2018. Calling on our pedigree for creating beautifully crafted watches in CGI, we produced an expansive range of moving images showcasing the elegant and luxurious designs. Our meticulous attention to the finest details of all aspects of these watches makes us a trusted partner of the Daniel Wellington brand.
Insights & Our Approach
With minimal and uncluttered design, our moving image sequences were created to echo the visual properties of the watches. The close-up views allowed us to depict the sublime finishes and materials of the dials, bracelets and leather straps. The “Elements of Nature” colour dials series also gave us the opportunity to take a deep dive into the world of VFX fluid dynamics, returning exceptionally striking results.
Research & Development
The clarity in which these timepieces are presented is a testimony to PICS detailed approach. Throughout the motion design process, the complex 3D models were at the very forefront of the creative direction, requiring precision texture application and exquisite lighting. The graceful camera movements we applied to each scene combine to make a classically refined collection of films.
