Sennheiser – Waves
PICS were asked by Sennheiser to promote their new range of True Wireless Earbuds. The motion design team at PICS brought them to life with bespoke development & application of authentic textures and refined lighting. With our experienced Houdini VFX & animation designers working alongside our in-house creative direction, we were able to depict these earbuds in amazing macro detail.
Insights & Our Approach
The CGI animation and VFX results PICS produced demonstrates our intention to showcase the properties and behaviour of sound waves and the way they undulate, making for truly stunning results. Our in-depth compositing techniques applied to these detailed components makes for a beautifully immersive product CGI exploration.
Research & Development
PICS motion design team embarked on a detailed creative process to develop the final look & feel for both aesthetic and 3D animation properties. Through the use of dynamic camera moves, lighting transitions and postproduction, the surface textures, intricate copper mesh & surrounding components became living entities and not just static elements.
