PICS collaborated with Grey London and Pantene to bring to life the nourishing benefits of the Pro-V range in a variety of different ways. All focussing on closeup shots of the products being applied to and working with photorealistic hair but with complete behaviour control. A perfect combination of premium VFX and CGI techniques working in unison.
THE BRIEF

The brief presented huge technical challenges but also many creative opportunities. Weeks of technical and aesthetic development ensued before agreeing on the best solutions to the desired shots. Producing photorealistic sequences with natural movement, transitioning from dry, damaged hair to strong, shiny repaired results took us to uncharted territories.
Multiple techniques and software’s were utilised to create the photorealistic hair and liquid simulations, and we’re rather proud of the end results! PICS produced the CGI sequences for 3 pan-European TV commercials, supported by a suite of high-resolution stills for print alongside motion for digital advertisement & social media content.
